After installing WordPress, It creates default account with username “Admin”, you should not use this account as administrator because that way your blog becomes vulnerable to hackers and they just need to find out your blog password to get access of your blog .

Create a new account with different username and assign that account administrator role. Logout and Login with new administrator account then either you change the role of this “Admin”account to subscriber or delete this account.

Change Permalink Structure

Permalink Structure should be user friendly but wordpress use this default structure  http://techmazic.com/?p=1289 which is not good for SEO . You should change to Post Name Structure or custom structure  both are good as SEO perspective . I use Post name structure in Techmazic .com
